Certified Grapes
We implement land management practices that reduce a century’s old reliance on harsh chemicals. By integrating beneficial insects and bird habitats, using grazing animals to control weeds, and enabling wildlife’s free passage across our farms, we reduce the need for pesticides and restore healthy ecosystem functioning.
Salmon Safe
Salmon-Safe works with West Coast farmers, developers, and other environmentally innovative landowners to reduce watershed impacts through rigorous third-party verified certification. Salmon-Safe provides high value insight and independent verification for water quality protection practices advancing climate resiliency.
Bee Friendly
All LIVE members are required to maintain ecologically rich ares on our farms. These include swaths of wildflower meadows, dense rich hedgerows, forested stands of trees, and protected riversides. We have a responsibility to connect our agriculture to lands that support a flourishing ecosystem of flora and fauna.
VAN DUZER AVA
The Newest AVA in the willamette Valley
Cynthian Vineyard is a proud member of the Van Duzer American Viticultural Area. The Van Duzer Corridor is an anomaly in the Coast Range through which oceanic winds funnel into the Valley. This breeze dries out the vine canopy and decreases fungus pressure, making the area highly attractive for grape growing and supporting sustainable practices.
