Where Great Wine Begins
A Premier Producer in
the heart of the Willamette Valley
Planted with Purpose
Our vineyard sits on a ridgeback above beautiful Dallas, Oregon, on an 80-acre property shaped by the unique climate of the Van Duzer Corridor. Oceanic winds funnel into the valley, cooling the grapes, building tannin and body, and helping dry the vine canopy to reduce fungus pressure. This allows us to follow our mission of sustainable growing by avoiding unnatural sprays and pesticides.
Historically it was a cattle ranch, making the soil rich for new growth. A ring of Oregon white oak trees protects the vineyard and is often patrolled by Kestrel and peregrine falcons. It sports spectacular views of the Willamette Valley and surrounding wine country.
Seven distinct vineyard blocks allow us to match each varietal to the conditions where it performs best. From Gamay and Sauvignon Blanc to multiple Pinot Noir clones, every planting is carefully considered to maximize quality and expression.
Together, these blocks form the foundation of Cynthian Vineyards, producing wines that capture the character of the Van Duzer Corridor and the natural beauty of Oregon wine country.

Latest updates in the vineyard
In 2026, the vineyard continued to evolve through new top grafts focused on diversifying white wine in the Willamette Valley and pushing toward more forward-facing wines for the region. What started as a cattle ranch has become a working vineyard, a gathering place, and an emerging Willamette Valley producer shaped by family, patience, and the Van Duzer winds.

Special Thanks
It truly takes a village.
It truly takes a village—and ours begins with family. Tim’s sons, Colby and Tieg Kinkade, have generously shared their time, energy, and encouragement whenever the vineyard has needed it. Alongside the many family members and friends who continue to show up for us, they have made the difficult seasons lighter, the milestones more meaningful, and this vineyard feel like something we are building together.
Brand & Voice
Erfan and Bellpine Creative has done so much to help push the design, marketing, and overall voice of our brand toward new audiences. It has been great having a Gen Z perspective in the mix, but Erfan is much more than an ambassador for his generation. He brings energy, insight, creativity, and a willingness to help us see the brand through a fresh lens.
The Winemaking Pivot
Thank you both so much for your advice, direction, and generous guidance. When we made the decision to transition away from simply growing grapes and begin pivoting more fully into winemaking, your experience, optimism, and steady encouragement helped us more than you probably realize.
New Markets
We are so grateful for your experience, your sharp logistical mind, and your excellent sense of humor, which somehow manages to exist right alongside a deeply practical, highly organized brain. That combination is rare and deeply appreciated. We are excited to continue working with you as we bring our wines into new markets.
In Loving Memory: Loki, Modi & Trace
Our three majestic Samoyeds spent their lives roaming these 80 acres, chasing deer, exploring the vineyard, and searching for the coolest patch of shade on hot summer days. Adventurous, gentle, and deeply loved, they remain part of every trail, field, and quiet corner of this place
